We're taking time to revisit the issue of groundwater in Minnesota. This essential natural resource is quickly disappearing, and the consequences for future generations could be severe.
In class, we'll start by listening to a report from Minnesota Public Radio, which gives details about the DNR's responsibilities relating to overpumping.
Then, we'll read an article from the Star Tribune, which gives more perspective on the story. A question set accompanies the article, and is due in class on Friday, 4/19.
